Getting a good read
Photographing the card
- Lay the card flat on a plain, matte surface. Glossy tables throw reflections that read as surface flaws.
- Light it evenly. Hard shadows along one edge can shift the measurement.
- Fill the frame, shoot straight down, and let the outline settle before the shutter fires.
- Take the card out of the sleeve. Sleeve edges are detected as the card's edge.
If it misses
The guides landed in the wrong place
Full-art cards with no printed border, and cards with a very dark border on a dark surface, are the hard cases. Drag any of the four guides onto the border yourself — the magnifier follows your finger, and the numbers update as you drag. A measurement you set by hand is treated exactly like one found automatically.
The catalogue search found nothing
The card catalogue is a public service and is sometimes unavailable. Type the card name, set and values yourself; every other part of the app works without it.
Membership
Restoring a purchase
Open Settings in the app, then Upgrade, then Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account you bought with.
Cancelling
Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions, not in Slabmint.
